I have 15 years of recruitment experience and here is how it started…

In 2005 I was approached by a consultant by the name of Tanje du Preez to move to Johannesburg and try my hand at Recruitment. I started at Insource ICT as a Resourcer with no experience. Trained and mentored to understand the basics of sourcing and matching a candidate to a client’s requirement, this was all in the Information Technology space.

I soon realised I enjoyed recruitment. I Moved back to Cape Town and transferred to Communicate personnel who is one of the Sister companies, here I started doing full 360 recruitment.

In 2013 I joined Geotech…it was here where I decided to venture into all the different industries (Engineering, Mining, IT, Manufacturing, Commercial) and here is where I really grew…

And then…. the rest is history.

My mind shifted, see I realised I wanted something different. 15 years of recruitment but there was something missing…Passion

Feb 2020, we realised recruitment is more than just matching a candidate to a job, it’s more than just chasing a target and wanting to just fill a role for the sake of it. We work with people, and we change lives I don’t want to recruit I want to partner up, help, Consult and be the go-to person, working for corporates is just not where I see myself.

WE Launched HEADSPACE GLOBAL, our own business where we will no longer be recruiting but where we will be Partnering up.
